Literature and art are important subjects which are indispensible to human life. Food, clothing and housing are essential material conditions for human existence, but man is not satisfied with these alone. The freer man is from the fetters of nature and society and from worries over food, clothing and housing, the greater his need for literature and art in his life. It is impossible to imagine life without literature and art.
